Ladin Museum

The history of the Ladin people in South Tyrol is unique and diverse. Several years ago a museum, dedicated to the history and identity of the Ladin population, was created. This state museum, Museum Ladin “Ciastel de Tor” is located in St. Martin in Thurn in a characteristic residence tower which alone is reason enough for a visit.

Nowhere else can you find such a collection of information on Ladin history, language and culture as in the Ladin Museum. Ladin customs and traditions as well as their legends and arts and crafts are all featured in the museum. Concerts and special exhibitions are also held on many days.
